Location:

185' x 85' Sport Court Garden rink & Stadium Rink

# Games:

16 Possible: 10 regular-season games, plus one playoff game guaranteed!

Playoffs:

Championship series is best of 3, Semi- finals are best of 2.

Overtime:

Regular season games which end in a tie will feature a five minute sudden death overtime. Just like the NHL, teams which lose in overtime still earn one point while winners earn two.

4 on 4 plus goalies

Levels:

A, B, C, D and E

# of Teams:

Maximum of 50

Clock:

Three 15-minute running time periods with clock stop in the final two minutes of a game which is within two goals.

Ages:

18 years and older. Any team playing with players younger than 18 years of age will be removed from the league and all fees forfeited.

Ball/ Puck:

All divisions are played with a puck.

Officials:

We supply officials and scorekeeping.

Statistics:

We keep individual player and goaltender statistics.

Jerseys:

All players must wear matching colored jerseys with numbers.

Awards:

The winning team from each division receives the Island Sports Center "Island Cup." and is yours to keep!!!

Rosters:

Rosters are limited to 20 players and are frozen after the start of the 4th game. Each skater must play in three games to be eligible for the playoffs.

Rules:

There is no off sides.

Team Fee:

$1,045 per team, with $200 deposit required

Spring teams paid in full by Friday, April 25th earn a $100 early bird discount. Otherwise the balance is due Monday, May 5th.

Captain's Meeting: Spring Session March 17 at 7:00 PM in the Hat Trick Club

All teams are required to have representation at the captain's meeting. Among the topics discussed at these meetings are team placement, new rules & procedures, schedule requests, and many other important topics including your chance to ask questions. Specific divisions, schedule requests, or league admittance will not be guaranteed to any team that does not attend the meeting

Special League Rules:

All players must be 18 years old to play in the Adult League.
Fighting results in a three game suspension. Any player who receives 4 penalties in a game receives a game misconduct.
Goalies must wear In-line skates.
All players must wear a helmet designed for hockey, elbow pads, gloves designed for hockey or lacrosse, hockey shin guards and In-line skates. Tape is not allowed on the stick blade except for one strip across the blade.
