The Junior Competitive class builds the foundation of more advanced figure skating skills. Skaters continue to learn skills in the U.S. Figure Skating freestyle test structure (FS 4 - 6) in addition to focusing on moves in the field, dance and footwork sequences. Emphasis is on showing good use of edges and a mastery of the basic skills, single jumps and basic spin positions required in the U.S. Figure Skating testing structure. Skaters are divided into groups based on enrollment and FS test level.
